Target marketing?

Occasionally when leaving the train station on the way to work in the morning, there are people handing out different marketing materials. Handouts range from menus to travel saftey notices to sample packets of gum, mints, etc.

Todays pairing was interesting; an XM Satellite Radio V.I.P. Discount Card and a sample packet of Pepcid Complete. One guy handing out both. Is there some hidden message there??
